Cashback guide
spree.com: Where It Pays to Shoptm
As a spree member you get Cashback three different ways:
- You earn Cashback on personal purchases. Spree.com pays you Cashback on purchases you make when you shop at the stores in spree.com’s marketplace. You get the same great selection, prices, and service as you would get by shopping at those stores directly, plus Cashback from spree.com! You earn, for example, 3% Cashback on your purchases at Barnes & Noble.com (exclusive of sales tax and shipping charges).
- You earn extra Cashback on purchases made by the spree members you refer. Refer a spree member and, to thank you, we’ll pay you an extra 40% of the Cashback amount they earn on their personal purchases in spree.com’s marketplace (paid additionally by spree.com -- not subtracted from their Cashback). And you’ll not only earn extra Cashback on their first purchase, but you’re eligible to earn Cashback on every single purchase they make… for life! For example: if you refer Ann who earns $20 in Cashback, you’ll receive 40% of that, or $8.
In addition, if you refer a shopper who doesn’t become
a spree member, we’ll still pay you! You’ll earn 40% of the Cashback they would have earned if they were a spree member on that one-time purchase!
- You earn even more Cashback on purchases made by every spree member in your member network. When your referrals, and even their referrals, start referring spree members, they’ll form a member network for you (down to five levels below you -- see chart above). We’ll then pay you 2% of the Cashback earned on purchases made by every spree member in your member network! For example, if you refer 10 members who in turn each refer 3 members, who then each refer 3 others (on down to the 5th level below you), your member network will quickly grow into thousands of members -- with spree.com paying you on purchases made by every one of them.
How you get paid:
Your Cashback is paid out in U.S. dollars. Your Cashback account will continue to grow until it is paid out to you. Cashback payments will be made approximately 45 days from the last day of any month in which your Cashback total is at least $25. Members may also need to provide us with a valid Social Security Number (for tax reporting purposes) if the Member earns more than $599.99 in Cashback in a given tax year. If, however, we are unable to obtain the information, and thus are unable to pay any accrued Cashback, all such Cashback will be considered forfeited by the Member one year from our first request for the information. Members who earn more than $599.99 in Cashback in a given tax year will be required to submit their Social Security number to spree.com by printing a W-9 Form, completing and mailing it to: spree.com, Member Services Department, Suite 103, 1155 Phoenixville Pike, West Chester, PA 19380. Non-U.S. Members will receive payment when their balance exceeds $100.
